The skin… an immune protective organ

The skin has the particularity of serving as an envelope which protects our body against mechanical, chemical and thermal attack, pathogens, microbes ...The role of the skin barrier in terms of thermal regulation and water balance is played by the sebaceous skin glands.

The nervous structures of the integumentary system make the skin a sensory organ which is used for the perception of pressure, touch, pain and temperature, and which in addition has the ability to blush or turn pale according to emotions and sensations , or chicken skin!

The skin is involved in the metabolism of vitamin D, by photo-oxidation under the influence of UV rays, from 7-dehydrocholesterol.  It consists of an epidermis and a dermis, which represent about 16% of the body weight! The skin is an immune protective organ, it should not be forgotten. The skin is also sexual… Hence the importance of maintaining the integrity of the skin and nourishing it optimally!

Causes of skin reactions to watch out for…

The list of causes is long, which makes a diagnosis complex and often difficult to make. Factors like allergic terrain and a leaky  gut should be considered.

Check your sensitivity to intolerance or allergies to foods that can exacerbate skin reactions.

Make sure to use quality cosmetics without chemicals (see for organic cosmetics). Because it is recognized that cosmetics are sources of xenobiotics.

Xenobiotics are chemical toxins that originate from outside the body, responsible for chronic degenerative diseases, immune dysfunctions, environmental hypersensitivities, endocrine disorders… and as the WHO tells us so well ¼ of the diseases have their origins in pollution that affects the body and our health.

Add to your daily life a phytotherapeutic formula like EXECALM capsules or EXECALM cream  recognized for its effectiveness in reducing annoying reactions such as eczema, hives, psoriasis, itching ...

It is a 100% natural supplement that can be taken either in capsule form to nourish and stabilize certain reactions of your skin by acting from the inside or even as a cream for a topical effect. Combine the two for maximum efficiency!

And get some sun, it's good for the skin!
